Cambridge-based charity, Blue Smile, was set up in 2010 to provide specialist mental health support to children in local schools, helping them enjoy happier childhoods and build brighter futures. Blue Smile therapists now help c 400 children a year in primary schools across Cambridgeshire. Fundraising Manager Rosi Jack will talk abut their work and identify the trends and issues the charity is seeing in children’s mental health.

Cathy Michel taught Religious Studies at Hills Road Sixth Form College for many years, specialising in Hinduism. She now works as a Chaplain to an Anglican ministry course based at Westminster College. She will explain the “Untouchables” quest for identity, humanity and liberation in modern day India.
