St Augustine’s was built in 1898 to serve the expanding population in this part of the city, as a school during the week and as a church on Sundays. St Augustine’s continues to serve its community as a church and has undergone extensive refurbishment and redevelopment so that it is now a contemporary, flexible and multi-purpose building available for hire by local community groups and for social events. Bookings are usually confirmed on a school-termly basis, and a booking form is at the end of this page.
We are grateful to Cambridge City Council for several Community Grants, and to many other donors and sponsors who enabled this redevelopment.
